Meet Brady Duhon – Maurice, LA
I’ve been a diehard waterfowl hunter for the past 15 years. I love bird hunting in particular, but the past 5 years speck hunting has taken over my duck hunting. I’ve been fortunate enough to hunt a few different places here in the US, but I hunt Canada every year and it is amazing. I think the reason I love speck hunting more now is that I’ve learned to call them which is not an easy thing and also it is more of a challenge to kill them down to brushing of the blinds, decoy placement, wind, and calling. It’s just amazing to watch these birds work and come right in. Make sure and give the guys over a Speck Warehouse a look and see what great things they offer for speck hunting. Have a great season.
Good Luck this season – Bill
Meet Tom Tow – Tioga, North Dakota
I’ve been hunting waterfowl since I could walk. I was in my first duck blind at age 2. I mainly hunted ducks in marshes, rivers, and flooded rice fields in California. I got hooked on Specks around age 18, after taking a trip to the California/Oregon border wheat fields. I now live in North Dakota and chase Specks in dry prairie crop fields, where I’m humbled each year with new learning experiences. The challenges, friendship and memories made in pursuit of waterfowl fuel my drive and keeps me coming back for more! – Tom
