I GET THIS ONE ALL THE TIME!
It’s 30 days into the season and I’ve managed to harvest my fair share of Specks. People hear of my success and they reach out and ask the million dollar question. “ HOW ARE YOU DOING THIS!?” While I’d like to assume credit for something revolutionary that I’m doing, that is very seldom the scenario! K.I.S.S “Keep It Simple Stupid”…. Over thought decoy spreads tend to lead to a non-functional set up. Start small! One to two dozen speck decoys set up in small family groups with plenty of landing area tends to work well. Specks pick out decoys, especially when it comes to those critical last 40 yards.
