The last day of Louisiana early teal season was Saturday September 30th, we got our limits and made a bittersweet exit as we knew we would not return until mid November.
My good friend Chad hunts the property to the south of us and he sent me this video after I left. I went outside and I heard them. A flock of specks passed right over our farm. The seasons first sighting is unlike any other…hearing the specks yodel makes the reality sink in…they are here.
